This was a $112,000 job in two phases. Shawn has a gift for designing as well as construction. He took my new purchase fixer-upper and made it into our dream home. He kept in touch and more importantly he took every call, or called back in a timely fashion. We spent five months on the project, the guys were here every day. The project included enlarging the main bath, opening the kitchen/dining room, rebuilding the screened in porch, adding a 14 foot addition to the master bedroom, a new roof and new siding. Happy to show if you would like to see their work before you commit.

Shawn is a designer, NOT your average or expected contractor. 🙂 He offered design options that could work for me after studying how I used the space and listening to what i wanted to add and change. We were in contact throughout the project and my questions were answers promptly and professionally.

I had the pleasure of getting my power bathroom remodeled. My floor felt as thou is was going to cave in. I met with Sean, he offered his suggestions and expertise when it comes to bathrooms. I really learned a lot and the professionalism is superior. Sean’s team finished my bathroom in 2 days and communicated with me every step of the way. I was so pleased with their work that I immediately referred his company to 5 of my coworkers. John came on time and was very professional at all times. He listened to my concerns, my fears of contractors messing up my house and assured me that he would make sure everything was perfect by the time he was finished. When the job was completed. Creative Equity Builders recently remodeled our master bath and a second full bathroom in our home. We could not be more pleased with the outcome! We immediately liked Shawn and sensed that he not only loves what he does but that he would be honest and trustworthy. He spent a lot of time with us discussing what we wanted, in great detail. One of the best things about working with Shawn was his designing skills. My husband and I had a general sense of the look we were going for but were clueless beyond that as far as specifics. There are so many options and possibilities out there that it is just overwhelming. Shawn helped us to identify what we would like, with the added caveat that we wanted a final product that would likely appeal to a younger family who will probably be buying our home in 4-5 years when we plan to move. We also had a relatively modest budget, adding another layer of complexity. Shawn narrowed down our choices and helped us to put it all together, something we would never have been able to do on our own. Shawn and his crew completed both bathrooms in a timely manner and were very respectful of our home in terms of protecting the floors, blocking out the dust, etc. Shawn shopped around and purchased high-quality products. They did excellent work with great attention to detail. We are thrilled with the finished product! Our favorite element is a gorgeous custom shower in our master bath, although both bathrooms are beautiful, with a much-needed, updated look. Shawn’s eye for design combined with high-quality work and respect for our budget made for a very successful remodel. We would use Creative Equity Builders for any future remodeling work, no question!

We hired Shawn and Creative Equity Builders to rebuild our basement which due to water damage was a blank slate. They put in new flooring, walls, ceilings and a complete kitchen. Shawn had some great ideas and worked well with us to create a beautiful and functional living space. All of the staff were very polite and helpful at all times and cleaned up behind themselves. This is a first for us – other contractors we hired the past never did this. Their pricing is very fair and competitive. We love their work so much we hired them for additional jobs and recommended them to family and friends who have also used them. We highly recommend Creative Equity Builders!
Shawn and company gutted a Fixer upper for us and turned it into a dream home! This was a $100K, Five month project. The guys on the crew are polite and friendly. They pulled down walls to make a larger bath, opened the kitchen dining room, ripped out an old porch and replaced it with a new screened in porch, extended the master bedroom 14 feet with new built in closets. The job ran over a few weeks but they had to contend with snow and ice during the outside projects, so that understandable. Would absolutely call Shawn and Creative Equity Builders, again
Shawn is very different from a lot of home improvement contractors who will take your money and perform poor work. He was able to assist with putting me in touch with reputable people to work with Inspite of him being booked where I could not hire him. He offered a free consultation and is a person that cares about getting the job done right! He does very nice work and cares about his reputation ! If you book him, do it! You will not regret it
I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed working with Shawn and Creative Equity Builders. From the meeting with us at his supplier to select our materials to the care and attention to details as the renovation proceeded, Shawn and his team made our project unique. Clearly impressive was Shawn’s artistic flair with the design of our smaller bathroom. Creative Equity Builders’ design and build go beyond the what you would expect from a local contractor.
Shawn came to my rescue after I had to fire another contractor that was doing a terrible job in restoring my house after a flood. Shawn was consistent and professional throughout the job and finished it much faster than I expected. I have recently hired him again to do some other work in my house.
